I1UJX I have, fortunately, to know him quite well, often, to learn a lot. Without a doubt I can safely say that, together with Silvano I2YSB, are my "Fathers of the frequency" which at the time they reached out to a newcomer, fresh from the ordinary dismissal was "fast" a lot of technical knowledge and practical and I have taken a liking procedure, without prejudice of knowledge, without being arrogant.
John took me almost "under his wing, explaining very slowly and many basics facendomele actually see on the field, through its outstanding facilities.
I find it really difficult to describe in only two lines in John ... Parallel to the discussion Radio, was born spontaneously at a great friendship that has never failed. Despite periods of work and family commitments, we were always in touch.
I would like to underline the availability 'and GENEROSITY' John, together with His vast experience and expertise, that daily offer to anyone who to contact. Definitely a very outspoken person, do not mince words, I do not want people who have had sharp responses from John. John was so!
has only been a few months after his death, but I miss her very much, maybe even the phone call in the local dialect "Hello Beppe, can you go? Tut well ?........" brought me joy. Always available to listen, maybe to tell her, to give you some advice ... (And not on the field of amateur radio).
How can you define? Test A Father .... an Uncle .... an older brother ....?
The definition does not really matter to me what I can say is that John's in my heart!
